CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY

Cerasterol 2F – (Combination of Omega 3 & Omega 6 fatty acids & Ceramides Cerasterol – 2F is a patented complex from Uriage comprising of Omega 3 & Omega 6 fatty acids integrated into Ceramides to create Omega 3 & 6 ceramides. The combination is clinically proven to hydrate the skin for upto 8 hrs. It has been seen to be effective in atopic dry skins of babies & Climatic, Senile & iatrogenic forms of Xerosis. After 4 weeks, remarkable decrease in intensity of Dry skin symptoms like Dehydration, Desquamation, Roughness, Rash formation was seen.

1. What is Xemose?
A: It is a Restructuring, Soothing & Protective cream for very severe forms of dry skin & dry skin related conditions including Psoriasis, Eczema & dermatitis.

2. What is the active ingredient?
A: Cerasterol – 2F (Patented Technology): Restructures, protects & soothes dry skin
Phytosterols: Restructures skin with a repairing effect.
Shea Butter: Restores Lipid content of the skin & forms a skin barrier.
Uriage TW: Antioxidant, Moisturizing & Anti‐inflammatory action.

3. How is it available?
A: 200 ml Tube.

4. What are the indications or uses?
A: Severe forms of Xerois (Climatic, Old age, Infants, Atopic)
Xerosis associated with skin conditions like Eczema, Psoriasis, Atopy.

5. What is the right dosage?
A: Twice daily application on cleansed skin.

6. What is to be done in case of missed dosage?
A: Apply it as soon as you remember.

7. What are the precautions while taking the product?
A: Discontinue to use if any redness or allergic reaction seen.

8. Which drugs should be avoided along with it?
A: Do not mix or apply with any other medication.

9. Who cannot take the medicine?
A: Pregnant & nursing mothers should use it under medical supervision.

A: Apply a coin sized amount or an amount depending on the affected surface area; twice daily on cleansed skin.
